Spiced Pear Gin Collins

Super easy, delicious, and sippable seasonable cocktail with pear and holiday warming spices

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • .5 oz spiced orange vanilla syrup
  • .5 oz lemon juice
  • 1.25 oz pear juice
  • soda water to top
  • optional orange twist, thyme, and anise seed for garnish

Instructions

  1. Grab a collins or highball glass and fill completely with ice
  2. combine gin, syrup, lemon juice, and pear juice directly in the glass
  3. stir to combine
  4. slowly top with soda water and stir gently to combine
  5. top with orange twist, cinnamon stick, star anise, and a sprig of thyme (optional)

Spiced orange vanilla syrup
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
Rind of one bright orange
1 vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cinnamon sticks
2 stars of anise
1 tsp whole allspice
1 tsp whole cloves 1 tsp Cardomom pods
2 slices fresh ginger

Bring water to a boil and add all ingredients. Heat until incorporated and all the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let sit for 15 minutes. Strain into a bottle (swing top or these incredible Crew bottles) and store in the fridge for up to two weeks!
