Spiced Pear Gin Collins

Super easy, delicious, and sippable seasonable cocktail with pear and holiday warming spices
Ingredients
- 2 oz gin
- .5 oz spiced orange vanilla syrup
- .5 oz lemon juice
- 1.25 oz pear juice
- soda water to top
- optional orange twist, thyme, and anise seed for garnish
Instructions
- Grab a collins or highball glass and fill completely with ice
- combine gin, syrup, lemon juice, and pear juice directly in the glass
- stir to combine
- slowly top with soda water and stir gently to combine
- top with orange twist, cinnamon stick, star anise, and a sprig of thyme (optional)
Spiced orange vanilla syrup
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
Rind of one bright orange
1 vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cinnamon sticks
2 stars of anise
1 tsp whole allspice
1 tsp whole cloves 1 tsp Cardomom pods
2 slices fresh ginger

Bring water to a boil and add all ingredients. Heat until incorporated and all the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let sit for 15 minutes. Strain into a bottle (swing top or these incredible Crew bottles) and store in the fridge for up to two weeks!
